A final paper in Data Analysis for Journalism and Political Communications discussing the trends in voter turnout in relation to the number of news outlets in each county. I used R to combine datasets, code a regression, and create graphs of my new data, then I proposed potential explanations for my results grounded in published literature on the subject.

A blog piece written during my time as the communications intern for Challenger Center. The piece was used to advertise the importance of Challenger Center’s missions which aim to engage young people in STEM and how participating in one of their immersive missions will leave a lifelong impact that trancends the classroom.

A reflection on how a simple 5th-grade math project sparked a lifelong curiosity for STEM. The piece highlights research-backed strategies for keeping STEM engaging, hands-on, and identity-building, and shows how organizations like Challenger Center make that possible.
